Hours of Operation
Office hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Telephone hours: 9:00am-4:00pm.
Dr. Bekker can be reached directly from 8:00am-9:00am. Any calls after 5:00 pm are considered after hour calls.
You are more than welcome to leave a message at anytime. We cannot guarantee same day call back if your message is received after 4:00pm.
Walk In Hours -
If you need a same day appointment please call early in the morning, or leave a message the night before, so you can be scheduled during the walk in hours of 9:00 am-10:00am. If you call after 9:00 am for same day appointments we cannot guarantee an opening. Please schedule in advance during the above hours.
After Hours Treatment-
If you are treated over the weekend or after office hours you will be charged the regular fee of $90.00 plus a $30.00 surcharge. This includes both children and adults.
Fees and Charges
New Patient Consultation –
Adults (16 and over) ..........$250.00-$300.00 For 2 hours
Children (under 16).............$200.00-$250.00 For 1 1/2 hours
New patient consultations are an in depth analysis of the whole patient, a physical exam and include the homeopathy remedy. If the consultation goes over the time alloted there will be a fee of $30.00 per 15 minutes.
Follow Up Appointments
Adults .......... $90
Children........ $85
Follow up appointments are normally 30 minutes in length. Depending on the condition being treated we normally recommend a follow up every 5 weeks until treatment is either no longer needed or not needed as often. The price above does include the first homeopathic treatment.
If further homeopathic remedies are needed there is a 20.00 charge per remedy given.
Patients who have not been seen over a period of six months will be charged a consultation fee of $120.00 for adults and $100.00 for children because the appointment will require extra time to retake the case.
If the consultations goes over the time alloted there will be a charge of 30.00 per 15 minutes.
Follow Up Calls
Follow up calls are vital to the success of your treatment. Normally we will assign a time frame in which you will call back and give us an update on how you are. These call backs are very important because they tell us how you are doing in comparison to when you were last treated. When you call in please let the receptionist know if you have seen any changes in your symptoms and what they are. This message will be relayed to Dr. Bekker and will assist him with a timely call back.There is no charge for the first follow up call unless it is lengthy.
Discounts
Family discounts are available. Sliding scale payments are available for established patients.
Telephone and email Policies
All telephone calls which result in a treatment are medical consultations and will be charged at the regular office fee of $90.00.
Any email conversations that result in a homeopathic treatment will be charged the regular office fee of $90.00.
Any lengthy telephone calls or email conversations will be billed starting at 20.00.
Calls made after office hours or on weekends will be returned the next business day.
We cannot guarantee that after hour emergency calls will be returned the same day.
Do not wait for a return call when you need immediate medical attention, but contact another physician or go to the nearest Emergency Room right away.
Office Policies
Any appointment that is missed/cancelled/rescheduled without at least 48 hours notice will be assessed a fee of $50.00. It is very difficult for us to offer the reserved time to someone else without proper notice so we ask that you give at least a 48-hour notice when canceling an appointment.
